Standards Level Criteria

The Standards Level is the baseline entry point for the Quality at Heart programme. In order to attempt recognition in one or more of the three themes - Servicemark, Businessmark, and Peoplemark - organisations will first need to meet the Standards criteria. To do this, they complete a simple questionnaire covering the following five areas:

A. Fitness for purpose
B. Statutory legislation and regulations
C. Participation in relevant national quality assurance schemes
D. Networking involvement
E. Use of technology

This ensures that organisations who embark on the Quality at Heart themes are at a stage in their business that will enable them to achieve the recognition and to benefit from the programme internally.

Upon satisfactory completion of this stage, the organisation will be required to sign the Quality at Heart Promise and will then have up to eighteen months to attempt recognition in at least one of the three themes: Servicemark, Businessmark or Peoplemark.
